Talisman Sarl attended the 11th APCAL Annual Brokerage Day on 9th October, along with about 380 participants. Thank you APCAL – Association Professionnelle des Courtiers en Assurances du Luxembourg – for arranging the event. As we discussed the event after, we agreed that although we’ve been in the insurance sector for decades, you always learn so much at industry gatherings. Not just from the speakers but by sharing experiences and insights with the other attendees.
The main theme was a panel discussion on the ESG-SFDR and the climate transition. The Insurance Regulator presented the latest broking and insurance statistics which showed that the Luxembourg Insurance Sector is in good shape. Finally, the Director General of the European Federation of Intermediaries gave a talk on their work with the different European bodies in the development of the multitude of insurance laws and regulations..
