We attended the annual conference organized by the CAA, ACA and APCAL in late October. The theme was AML/CFT and Sanctions.

There were presentations by the Ministry of Finance on the changes and updates in AML regulations and counter terrorism financing. The CAA updated the participants on the latest statistics, plus two interesting presentations on financial sanctions and the latest results from the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) on the declarations they receive.
